Amity enables you to connect, communicate and share information virtually with the people in your support circle, including your friends and family. In the future, we hope to enable you to also share this information directly with the healthcare professionals involved in your care.
From Amity, select the 'Connect' tab.
From here you can invite people to be part of your virtual support circle by selecting 'Add new person'.
You will be asked to choose what relationship they are to you and complete some additional information including their name, email address, and what you are providing them with access to within Amity, so that an invitation email can be sent to them.
Access rights can be set for each section of the site where you can specify whether a person can 'view' or 'edit' content or not access the content at all. You have complete control of what information each individual has access to and access can be updated and removed by you at any time.
Once accepted, your virtual support contact will be visible within Amity and you can communicate with them by sending direct messages which can be viewed from within Amity.
From the 'Connect' tab, you can also see any circle invites and pending requests.
